Run the Jewels and TV on the Radio to Perform Together on "Late Show With Stephen Colbert"

Stephen Colbert will make his debut as the host of “The Late Show” on September 8. He’s announced a handful of his initial guests, such as Kendrick Lamar, who will perform on September 9 (not the inaugural broadcast, as previously reported). Today, he revealed the schedule for the show’s second week, as The Hollywood Reporter points out.

On September 16, Run the Jewels and TV on the Radio will perform together. It’s unclear what this collaboration will entail; Pitchfork has reached out to both acts’ representatives for more information. Update (8/31, 7:18 p.m.): A representative has confirmed that TV on the Radio will act as Run the Jewels’ live band.

The Dead Weather will also swing by on September 14.
