Sigur Rós Announce Ágætis byrjun Box Set Reissue
Sigur Rós have announced that this summer, they will release an expanded reissue of their 1999 LP Ágætis byrjun. It’s due in early summer, and the deluxe box set edition is set to feature unheard studio recordings, rare live cuts, photos, and other documentary materials from that period.
More details are coming soon as the band are currently finalizing the reissue’s packaging and content, but watch a teaser for the reissue below.
Pitchfork placed Ágætis byrjun at #8 on the “Top 200 Albums of the 2000s” list.
