Sigur Rós Launch Casting Call for Fans
Sigur Rós have announced an open casting call for fans in the Los Angeles area. The Icelandic band are seeking diehard fans to be filmed for a “short documentary,” ideally people who “have been to numerous live shows and have a strong connection with the band in a way that has really impacted your life.” If that sounds like you, find the submission form here. The band are looking for fans that are available over the next few weeks; they issued an identical casting call for the United Kingdom back in October. Sigur Rós’ song “Viðrar vel til loftárása” was recently covered by the International Space Orchestra. In April, the band will begin a North American tour.
