Slint’s David Pajo, Cat Power Soundtrack Short Film Skateboarding in Pine Ridge

Slint‘s David Pajo has scored a new, 17-minute film about two skatepark-building projects in South Dakota. The short, produced by Levi’s and directed by Greg Hunt, also features an original Cat Power track called “Anthem”. Watch it in full below.

“Pine Ridge is largely reported in the media as an impoverished community with a drug and alcohol epidemic and teen suicide rates seven to ten times greater than the National average,” reads the press release. “When the Levi’s team visited the reservation, they found a generation inspired – a group of people championing each other through their collective actions.”
