St. Vincent Returns to Texas, Sings "The Star-Spangled Banner" in Short Documentary

St. Vincent recently paid a visit to her home state of Texas to shoot a short documentary for Nowness. In the clip, directed by Alan Del Rio Ortiz, Annie Clark reads a reflective voiceover and explores a deserted country track, climbing rocks and playing acoustic guitar. Then, she sings “The Star-Spangled Banner” to a small crowd at a local baseball game, before overseeing a silly synchronized dance routine. Watch it below.
