Stephen Colbert Parodies Kanye's “Ellen” Speech: Watch

Last night, in addition to hosting musical guests Wolf Parade, Stephen Colbert set aside some time during “The Late Show” to reflect on some important news: Kanye West‘s recent appearance on “Ellen.” After playing clips from Kanye’s eight-minute stream-of-consciousness daytime television missive, Colbert empathized with Kanye, saying he, too, could do more good in the world if he had some of Mark Zuckerberg’s money. “I could buy more shoes,” he said. “I have ideas that can make human existence better! Period end of sentence, punctuation, semicolon, ellipses, parenthesis! I want to make better hot dog buns!” He also echoed Kanye, noting that Pablo Picasso and Walt Disney are dead.
