Amen Dunes‘ Cowboy Worship EP is out next week via Sacred Bones. The six-track offering is intended as a companion piece to the last Amen Dunes LP, Love. It includes a cover of This Mortal Coil’s version of the Tim Buckley standard “Song to the Siren”. Cowboy Worship is streaming right now via Pitchfork Advance, our streaming platform designed to emulate the album listening experience. Canadian musician Alex Calder got his start drumming in Mac DeMarco’s band Makeout Videotape. He later went solo, signing to Captured Tracks and releasing 2013′s Time EP. Arriving January 20 on the Brooklyn-based label, Strange Dreams is Calder’s debut record. Check it out here until January 20 via Advance.
