Eight years after their last album, 2006’s Flat-Pack Philosophy – and nearly forty years into their career as a whole – Buzzcocks return with a new record titled The Way, out on 1-2-3-4 Go! on November 18. It’s the first record featuring the band’s newest rhythm section – bassist Chris Remington and drummer Danny Farrant – and was produced by Dave M. Allen (the Cure, Depeche Mode).

From now until November 17, The Way will be streaming in full via Pitchfork Advance, our online streaming platform designed to emulate the album listening experience. Listen here.

Former Emeralds member Mark McGuire has announced Noctilucence, a new EP out November 11 via Dead Oceans. His last release was this year’s Along the Way. Listen here until November 17.

Jealous Butcher launches their vinyl reissue campaign for 90s Chicago band Red Red Meat with their final LP, 1997′s There’s a Star Above the Manger Tonight. The remastered double vinyl reissue is out on November 18 and comes with five bonus tracks. Stream it here until November 17.

Irish producer the Cyclist gained recognition through his work with Matthewdavid’s Leaving Records, as well as his twisted dance side project Buz Ludzha. After dropping his Bones in Motion LP last year, the Cyclist is releasing Flourish, a seven-track LP that extends the themes of that record, next week via All City. Listen to it here until November 17.

Nathan Bowles has played with many people over the years, including the Black Twig Pickers, Pelt, Steve Gunn, Jack Rose, and Hiss Gold Messenger, among others. Nansemond, his second solo LP (a follow-up to 2012’s A Bottle, A Buckeye), is his first album to include vocals. The album’s slated to drop on November 18 via Paradise of Bachelors, but you can give it an Advance spin in the days leading up to its release. Listen here until November 17.

This week, Advance is also streaming Hyperdub and Teklife Present: Next Life, a footwork compilation honoring the late DJ Rashad.

Pitchfork Advance showcases an interactive listening environment featuring pre-release albums streams with dynamic graphics and a host of tools that allows fans to engage with album art, lyrics, credits, track listings, artist info, and more while they listen.
