Following their 2012 album Infinity Overhead, Seattle indie rock outfit Minus the Bear return with Lost Loves, a collection of rare and unreleased songs from the past seven years. The new set features songs written and recorded during the sessions for not just Infinity Overhead, but also 2010’s OMNI and 2007’s Planet of Ice. Lost Loves arrives October 7 via Dangerbird, but you can listen to the album in full right now via Pitchfork Advance, our immersive music streaming platform designed to emulate the classic album experience. Heartleap is the third album from folk singer-songwriter Vashti Bunyan, and her first since 2005′s Lookaftering. (That was her first album since 1970′s Just Another Diamond Day.) It was recorded over seven years, with the first song written in 2007 and the last written in March of this year. It’s out October 7 in the U.S. via DiCristina and October 6 in the UK via FatCat, and features contributions from Devendra Banhart and Vetiver. Listen here until October 7.

Aussie/UK indie-pop outfit Allo Darlin’ have completed their follow-up to 2012′s Europe, and it’s out next week. It’s titled We Come From the Same Place, arriving on shelves October 7 via Slumberland. It includes the previously-unveiled “Romance and Adventure”. Listen here until October 7.

Scott Conner, the creative force and sole member behind black metal project Xasthur, returns with Doomgrass, his third full-length as Nocturnal Poisoning. Scheduled for release on October 7 via The End, Doomgrass finds Conner weaving elements of country, folk and bluegrass into his murky, ambient sound. Check out the album here until October 7.

Field Report is an anagram of Porterfield, the surname of Milwaukee songwriter Chris Porterfield, who got his start as a member of DeYarmond Edison alongside Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon. His latest album, Marigolden, arrives October 7 via Partisan. It follows 2012’s self-titled debut. Give it an Advance spin here until October 7.
