Strokes Guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. Stops Thief
On his Snapchat, Albert Hammond Jr. shared some security camera footage, which showed a guy stealing a wallet and green card out of his wife’s purse. When Hammond realized what was happening, he attacked the guy. “Oh wow, I did get angry, didn’t I,” remarks Hammond while he watches the footage. Find the clip below via Stereogum.

In other news, the Strokes have been photographed in the studio, Stereogum point out. Julian Casablancas confirmed that the band were working on new material back in April, and now it appears that they’re rehearsing and recording some of those new songs.
Hammond’s new album Momentary Masters was released earlier this year, and Casablancas recently teamed up with Savages’ Jehnny Beth for a new single.
