Sufjan Stevens released his excellent new album Carrie & Lowell not too long ago, and now he’s taking it on the road. On April 9 and 10, he kicked off his North American tour with two performances at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia, where he did many of the album’s tracks for the first time. Below, watch him perform “Drawn to the Blood”, “Death with Dignity” and “John My Beloved”, all from the new LP, along with “Redford” from Greetings From Michigan: The Great Lakes State (via Stereogum).
