SZA Announces New Album CTRL, Shares New Song “Drew Barrymore”: Listen

Last year, Top Dawg Entertainment boss Anthony Tiffith promised a big year from his label with a hypothetical release schedule. One of those records was by SZA, whose last album, Z, came out in 2014. After some internal conflict caused her to tweet “I actually quit” and that TDE co-president Punch “can release my album if he ever feels like it,” she announced the title of her new album tonight on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” It’s called CTRL. It includes “twoAM,” her previously released rework of PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake‘s “Come and See Me.” It also features a new song, “Drew Barrymore;” listen to that below.
