The Decemberists Perform on a Fake German TV Show Hosted by Nick Offerman in the "Make You Better" Video
As previously teased, the Decemberists have shared the video for “Make You Better” that features Nick Offerman of “Parks and Recreation”. The clip, directed by Bill Fishman, takes place on the set of a “Between Two Ferns”-esque fake TV show called “The Old Blue Rock Palace Show”. Offerman plays a German interviewer who asks Colin Meloy some silly, uncomfortable questions without regard for the answer, before the Decemberists deliver an awkward performance of the song while wearing hilarious outfits. There’s also a romantic subplot involving Offerman and one of the show’s producers.
The Decemberists’ What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World is out January 20 on Capitol and January 19 on Rough Trade in the UK and Europe.
