The Field, Leyland Kirby Remix Inventions (Explosions in the Sky, Eluvium Members)

Explosions in the Sky‘s Mark T. Smith and Eluvium‘s Matthew Cooper are Inventions—their album Maze of Woods is out March 17 via Temporary Residence. Today, two singles from the album have gotten the remix treatment. The Field tackled “Peregrine” and Leyland Kirby (aka the Caretaker, the Stranger, and V/Vm) took on “Springworlds”. Listen above.

The remixes will be included as bonus tracks on the album’s digital edition. They’ll also be included on a bonus limited edition vinyl remix EP, which is out in April. The physical EP will also feature a remix from A Winged Victory for the Sullen.
