The Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne Tells Halloween Story on IFC’s "Comedy Bang! Bang!"
“Comedy Bang! Bang!” is an IFC show spun-off from the popular podcast, hosted by Scott Aukerman with bandleader Reggie Watts. In this week’s Halloween episode, Flaming Lips singer Wayne Coyne shows up as himself to tell a spooky story filled with candy-themed wordplay, all while dressed as Carrie from the book/movie Carrie. So festive! Watch it here. The episode airs this Friday, on Halloween.
Coyne also appeared on Watts’ web show, “Reggie Makes Music”, to improvise a song. (While still dressed up as Carrie, of course.) Watch that here.
The National previously appeared on the show. The Lonely Island, Future Islands, “Weird Al” Yankovic, and the Vandals are also scheduled to appear on this season.
