The Gaslamp Killer Announces New Album Instrumentalepathy, Shares New Song “Residual Tingles”

The Gaslamp Killer has announced a new studio album. It’s titled Instrumentalepathy, and it’s out September 16 via the producer’s new imprint Cuss Records. It was recorded after his near-death experience following a traffic accident in 2013. (Literally, the first five minutes of the album were recorded in bed after the accident while he was “on tons of morphine,” according to a press release.) He called it “a reflection of my life before and after the accident.”

The new LP is the Gaslamp Killer’s first studio record since his album Breakthrough in 2012. It features Gonjasufi, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, the Heliocentrics, Kid Moxie, and others. See the full tracklist and album artwork below, plus a teaser trailer for the album created by “steve,” the directorial moniker of Flying Lotus.
