The Kills Announce New Album Ash & Ice, Share “Doing It to Death” Video
Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince are back with a new Kills album. Ash & Ice, the follow-up to 2011′s Blood Pressures, will arrive on June 3 via Domino. They’ve also shared the video for the first single “Doing It to Death,” in which Mosshart and Hince attend an increasingly surreal funeral. Find that below, along with a note announcing the album.

Ash & Ice was mostly recorded in Los Angeles, and at NYC’s Electric Lady Studios. It was produced by Hince, and co-produced by John O’Mahoney (Metric, the Cribs).
The band has also expanded a previously announced tour. You can find those dates below.
Mosshart’s other band, the Dead Weather, released their Dodge & Burn LP last year. She also covered a song for HBO’s new show “Vinyl.”
