The Lonely Island Share Second Popstar Movie Trailer: Watch
The Lonely Island—the comedy trio of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone—have released a new trailer for Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. The Judd Apatow-produced movie, which also stars Sarah Silverman, Tim Meadows, Maya Rudolph, and Bill Hader (plus appearances from Joanna Newsom, DJ Khaled, Usher, Adam Levine, Questlove, and more) hits theaters June 3.
The new trailer features a cameo from Seal and includes the Lonely Island’s new song “Mona Lisa” (which is about how much Leonardo’s iconic painting “sucks”). At one point, Samberg’s character (Conner4Real) gripes about being naked on stage for 10 seconds, which he says is “a third of the way to Mars!” Watch it and check out a new poster for the film below.
