The National’s Bryce and Aaron Dessner to Release Transpecos Film Score: Listen

The National’s Bryce and Aaron Dessner have composed the score for a new thriller called Transpecoswhich is the feature film debut of director Greg Kwedar. The soundtrack is out September 9 via Milan Records, and includes 17 new tracks from the score; it closes with the National’s “Afraid of Everyone” (from High Violet). Listen to the soundtrack’s “Final Theme,” “Brothers,” and “Alone and Unafraid” below. Starring Johnny Simmons, Gabriel Luna and Clifton Collins Jr., Transpecos follows three Border Patrol agents working a desert outpost where “the content of one car will reveal an insidious plot within their own rank.” The film arrives in theaters on September 9 via Samuel Goldwyn Films.
