The Shins‘ last record was 2012′s Port of Morrow. Now, it seems new material is on the horizon. In a “#shinstagram” post tagged with the name of James Mercer’s record label, Aural Apothecary, the band shared a snippet yesterday of what sounds like a new track. Hear it below.

Since Port of Morrow, the Shins have contributed a new song, “So Now What,” to the soundtrack for Zach Braff’s 2014 film Wish I Was Here. That year, Mercer also released After the Disco with Broken Bells, his duo with Danger Mouse. Mercer’s pre-Shins band Flake Music reissued their 1997 album When You Land, It’s Time to Return, as well.
