The Weeknd and Daft Punk’s “Starboy” Video Isn’t Out Yet, Still Gets MTV EMA Nomination

Earlier today, the Weeknd teased a new video for his Daft Punk-featuring single “Starboy” with the Instagram post below. But before that video actually arrives, it’s been nominated for an award. “Starboy” is already up for Best Video at the MTV EMAs. The other nominees for the award are Beyoncé’s “Formation,” Kanye West’s “Famous,” Tame Impala’s “The Less I Know the Better,” and Coldplay’s “Up&Up.” The Weeknd also received nominations in the Best Male and Best Canadian Act categories. Find the full list of nominees here. “Starboy” is the title track from the Weeknd’s upcoming album, which is out November 25.
