The Weeknd Arrested After Allegedly Punching Police Officer

Abel Tesfaye, aka the Weeknd, was arrested Saturday in Las Vegas for allegedly punching a police officer, TMZ reports.
According to TMZ, police arrived at the Cromwell Hotel around 4:20 a.m. to find Tesfaye in the middle of a fight. An officer apparently pulled Tesfaye into an elevator, and that’s when the singer allegedly punched the officer in the head. You can see the mug shot here.
After he was released on bail, he posted the below photo on Instagram with the caption “escaped from Las Vegas”.
