The Weeknd released his new album Beauty Behind the Madness on Friday. Tonight, he performed “Can’t Feel My Face” at the MTV Video Music Awards. Jared Leto introduced the performance, which included a lot of pyrotechnics. Even Video Vanguard Award winner Kanye West got up and danced along.

Following the performance, the Weeknd starred in an Apple Music commercial in which John Travolta plays his driver, for some reason. Watch a clip of the Weeknd’s performance, West’s dance moves, and Apple Music’s commercial below.

The Weeknd was up for three awards at this year’s show: Best Male Video for “Earned It” (originally on the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack), Best Collaboration for “Love Me Harder” with Ariana Grande (from her 2014 album My Everything), and Song of the Summer for “Can’t Feel My Face”. He did not win Best Male Video or Song of the Summer.
