The Who Reference Daft Punk In "Be Lucky", First New Song in Eight Years

In honor of their 50th anniversary, the Who have shared a new single called “Be Lucky”, a song that references Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” and appears as the last track on the Who’s forthcoming definitive hits collection, Who Hits 50!.

“Be Lucky” is the Who’s first new material in eight years. (“You wanna climb without a safety line/ Daft Punk will tell you that it’s gonna be fine,” Daltrey sings.) Listen to it below.

Who Hits 50! will feature hits that span the Who’s 11-album career, beginning with their first recordings as The High Numbers and continuing up until the present day. The 2xCD is out October 27 via Geffen/Universal Music. Check out the tracklist below.
