Thee Oh Sees, White Lung, the Bug, Milk Music, Total Control, Dead Moon to Play Berserktown II

Berserktown II is a festival that takes place in downtown Los Angeles from August 14-16. Today, the initial lineup has been announced.

Thee Oh Sees, White Lung, the Bug, Milk Music, Total Control, Dead Moon, Screaming Females, Amen Dunes, Priests, Gun Outfit, the reunited Danish punks No Hope For the Kids, Xibalba, the Skull Defekts, Watery Love, Zig Zags, Dan’l Boone, and more are set to perform. 

The festival marks Total Control’s first announced performance following the release of last year’s Typical System. The band’s Daniel Stewart told Pitchfork last summer, “It would be difficult for me to tour on some of the songs on this record just because it’s still quite raw.”

Milk Music recently returned to the stage after announcing an indefinite hiatus from performing live in late 2013. Alex Coxen told Pitchfork’s Jenn Pelly, “I just can’t do it any longer. The music business is a bunch of jive bullshit and I don’t want us to be available for the public to mutilate and misrepresent.”
