This Will Destroy You Cover Nirvana’s "Paper Cuts": Listen

On April 16, Robotic Empire will follow up their full-album tributes to Nirvana‘s In Utero and Nevermind with their installment focusing on 1989′s Bleach. Doused in Mud, Soaked in Bleach features covers by Beach Slang, Thou, Pinback’s Rob Crow, Young Widows, Mean Jeans, and others. Previously, the label shared Circa Survive’s cover of “Love Buzz.” Now, check out This Will Destroy You‘s version of “Paper Cuts.” 

The band said of their version:

The framework for ‘Paper Cuts’ was a welcomed challenge to work on as the track is already doomy and repetitive. Going slow and low seemed to be the way to put our own stamp on the cover while maintaining the rawness and intensity of the original.
