Thom Yorke Shares Photo of Mysterious White Record, Album Speculation Ensues

Earlier in the year Radiohead‘s Johnny Greenwood told BBC Radio 6 that “[Radiohead is] going to start up in September, playing, rehearsing and recording and see how it’s sounding”. Prior to this interview, Radiohead had taken a year off. Thom Yorke had been focusing on his side project Atoms for Peace and scored a film called UK Gold along with Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja and Elbow’s Guy Garvey. (The film is now available to stream at Vimeo on demand.) Meanwhile, Jonny Greenwood worked with orchestras, Philip Selway prepped a new solo album, and Colin Greenwood did some charity work. Any new material that the band is allegedly recording would be the followup to 2011′s The King of Limbs.

Now, both Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich have shared the above photo of a mysterious white vinyl on Tumblr, Consequence of Sound reports.

It is unclear whether this is new music from Radiohead, Atoms For Peace, or another Thom Yorke solo project, but the art on the record sleeve in the background appears to be that of longtime collaborator Stanley Donwood.

Radiohead recently updated their Polyfauna app with new music and visuals.
