Somerset House in London is hosting an exhibition of art inspired by filmmaker Stanley Kubrick. “Daydreaming with Stanley Kubrick” runs from July 6 through August 24, and will feature contributions from Daft Punk member Thomas Bangalter, Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker, Carl Craig, and more, as Consequence of Sound points out. The artists have “been invited to respond to a film, scene, character or theme from the Kubrick archives, shining new perspectives onto the cinematic master’s lifework.” The exhibition has the support of Christiane Kubrick, the director’s wife of 41 years, as well as Warner Bros. Pictures.
