Thundercat Pays Disturbing, Disgusting Tribute to His Pet Cat in "Tron Song" Video Directed by Eric Andre
The latest edition of JASH’s $5K Video series (in which a comedian gets to make a music video for $5000) pairs L.A. musician Thundercat and comedian Eric Andre, who directs the clip for Apocalypse‘s “Tron Song”. And oh man, is it nuts.
The video is an ode to Thundercat’s pet cat that plays out in a series of disturbing, bizarre scenes: Thundercat digs a gun out of a giant litter box, then blows his brains out. He later takes a shit in said giant litter box. Then he does some autoerotic asphyxiation in the litter box. The clip ends with Andre and Thundercat getting into a fight about the cat, and Andre’s head exploding.
