Thurston Moore, Neko Case, Corin Tucker, More Join New Music Nonprofit Platform

CASH Music, a non-profit organization established to help support artists, has launched a new crowdfunding campaign, CASH Music Family. As well as exclusive merchandise and new music, supporters of the initiative will have access to “curated feeds” by a variety of artists on what they’re reading, watching, and listening to. Among the artists involved are Neko Case, Thurston Moore, Sleater-Kinney’s Corin Tucker and Janet Weiss, the Haxan Cloak, the Hold Steady’s Craig Finn, Okkervil River’s Will Sheff, Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner, Jon Wurster (Superchunk, The Mountain Goats), Brendan Canty (Deathfix, Fugazi), and more. The site will also let members vote on the direction of CASH’s publication Watt and which artists receive funding through their Revolving Fund. Head here for more information.
