If you purchased tickets from Ticketmaster between 1999 and 2013, good news—there are probably free or discounted tickets waiting for you, Gawker reports. A class-action lawsuit, Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster, was brought over “deceptive” descriptions of the company’s service fees. Ticketmaster settled that lawsuit, and as a result, they’re offering vouchers for free tickets, discounted tickets, and discounted shipping. The free tickets are only available for events at Live Nation-operated venues and only for events chosen at “Live Nation’s sole discretion.” The vouchers page includes a note that the list of eligible events is “still being finalized.” Events will be listed here. Passes to specific events are available on a first-come, first-served basis. That’s a lot of caveats, but still: free tickets! Under “Your Account” at Ticketmaster, check “Active Vouchers.”
