Tim Heidecker Sings About Internet Trolls and Burning Down the White House in New Songs: Listen

Tim Heidecker has shared two new songs, “For Chan” and “Cooked Chinese Chicken (Is Coming Our Way).” Proceeds from the songs go to the ACLU and American Heart Association, respectively. In “For Chan,” Heidecker sings from the perspective of an internet troll, with lyrics such as, “If they made a movie of me, they’d have to cast the fattest actor ever.” In “Cooked Chinese Chicken,” meanwhile, Heidecker takes aim at politicians. He opens: “Can’t call it the White House anymore/Too many stains on that Oval Office floor/Blood and piss and semen and shit/Burn it all down, we’re done with it.” Later, he sings, “Ain’t it a shame he’s too dumb for suicide/Too self-absorbed, too filled with pride.” Listen to both songs below.

“Cooked Chinese Chicken” refers to a new trade deal between the United States and China that allows China to export cooked poultry products. The two new songs follow a string of political tracks Heidecker has released recently, including “Mar a Lago,” “Trump Talkin’ Nukes,” “Richard Spencer,” and “Trump’s Pilot.” This summer, Heidecker and Eric Wareheim will embark on a 10-year anniversary tour for their cult Adult Swim show, “Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!”.
