Travis Scott Says He’s Executive Producing Kanye’s Cruel Winter Album, Out Early 2017

When Travis Scott debuted his new album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight during his “.wav radio” show last Friday, he announced that he is executive producing Kanye West’s forthcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation Cruel Winter. In a new interview on Hot 97, Scott has also revealed that the album will be out early next year. He also said that every G.O.O.D. Music artist, including West, will be on the album, which he described as “very youthful, straight to the point, like the illest ever, man, like the illest album.” Watch a snippet from the interview below.

Cruel Winter follows the label’s 2012 compilation Cruel Summer. In June, West released the first song from the forthcoming album, “Champions.” It features Travis Scott, Big Sean, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Migos’ Quavo, Yo Gotti, and Desiigner. Recently, G.O.O.D.’s Teyana Taylor (who starred in West’s “Fade” video) shared a new video of her freestyle over “Champions.” Watch that below.
