Last week, Mayor Rahm Emanuel declared September 23 to be “David Bowie Day” in Chicago, coinciding with the opening of a new exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago about Bowie’s career.
Ty Segall happened to be playing a show in Chicago that day, so he performed a medley of Bowie songs during his encore. He did bits of “Ziggy Stardust”, “Suffragette City”, and “Queen Bitch”. Watch a pair of videos below.

Correction: A previous version of this story indicated that Segall performed on September 24, not September 23.
