UGK and OutKast’s “Int’l Players Anthem” to Be Released on Texas-Shaped Vinyl

On November 25, UGK’s collaboration with OutKast, “Int’l Players Anthem (I Choose You),” (from 2007’s Underground Kingz) will be released on a special Texas-shaped vinyl via Get On Down. It is among the label’s Record Store Day releases, which also include a 2xLP reissue of Jungle Brothers’ Done by the Forces of Nature, and a vinyl reissue of the third volume of James Brown’s Funky People series. The upcoming “Int’l Players Anthem (I Choose You)” vinyl includes the original song, as well as an instrumental version. Get On Down’s new releases can be purchased only in-store on Black Friday. Find a list of participating record stores here. The label has become known for their special packaging. Earlier this year, they reissued Cypress Hill’s self-titled debut as a skull sculpture.
