Watch a New “Twin Peaks” Teaser
David Lynch’s iconic TV show “Twin Peaks” is currently slated for a 2017 return on Showtime. Today, he’s shared a new teaser video for the revival. It features composer Angelo Badalamenti playing music from the show’s score while projected over a mysterious forest backdrop. A photo of Laura Palmer appears during the video. Watch it below.
The cast for the “Twin Peaks” reboot includes returning actors like Ray Wise, Miguel Ferrer, and David Duchovny. New to the show are musicians Trent Reznor, Sky Ferreira, Eddie Vedder, Sharon Van Etten, and more. Actors Michael Cera, Naomi Watts, Amanda Seyfried, and others will also appear.
Badalamenti’s “Twin Peaks” score recently got reissued. Later this month, the show’s co-creator Mark Frost will release a new book called The Secret History of Twin Peaks. Actors from the program, including Kyle MacLachlan, Russ Tamblyn, and others, will voice the audiobook.
