Watch Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon Join Megafaun’s Phil Cook at Eaux Claires

Last night at the Eaux Claires Music Festival in Wisconsin, Bon Iver debuted songs from their upcoming album 22, A Million. Today, Justin Vernon performed with Phil Cook of Megafaun and Hiss Golden Messenger. Cook introduced him to the stage by saying, “I learned how to play music from this man.” They did a cover of Paul Pena’s “Gonna Move,” as well as a rendition of the Christian hymn “Will the Circle Be Unbroken?” joined by gospel singer Lena May Perry. Bruce Hornsby, who performed last night with Bon Iver, also sat in during the set, performing covers of songs by George Jones and the Allman Brothers. Watch videos from the performance below.
