Watch Jonny Greenwood Prank Thom Yorke During a Radiohead Show
During a headlining set at Coachella this weekend, Radiohead experienced technical problems that interrupted the show. The sound dropped out and feedback affected both the stage speakers and the live stream audio.“Fuckin’ aliens again,” Thom Yorke said to the crowd. Last night in Berkeley, they had more difficulties, but took it in stride. During The King Of Limbs’ “Give Up The Ghost,” Thom realized something was wrong with his stage setup and mumbled “Aw shit” into the mic. Jonny Greenwood captured the soundbite, then sampled and looped it, much to Thom’s (and the audience’s) amusement. He continued to play the loop, even as Thom attempted to power through and sort out the issues. Watch it happen below.
