Watch Laser Cats Destroy a City in Minor Victories' (Slowdive, Mogwai, Editors) New Video

Minor Victories—the supergroup comprised of Slowdive‘s Rachel GoswellMogwai‘s Stuart Braithwaite, Editors‘ Justin Lockey, and his brother James Lockey of Hand Held Cine Club—will release their self-titled debut June 3 on Fat Possum (U.S.) and Play It Again Sam (worldwide). Previously, they released “A Hundred Ropes” and “Folk Arp.” Today they’ve shared their new single, “Scattered Ashes (Song for Richard),” and its corresponding video. The song features James Graham of the Twilight Sad; the video features a cat destroying a city with laser vision. It’s like the Lonely Island meets Meow the Jewels.
