Watch LCD Soundsystem Perform “American Dream” on “SNL”

LCD Soundsystem were the musical guests on tonight’s episode of “Saturday Night Live.” Watch James Murphy and company perform “American Dream” below. The band released the song alongside another track, “Call the Police” (which they also performed on the show), earlier this week. Both songs are taken from a forthcoming new album for Columbia, their first since This is Happening, which was released in 2010. (There is not yet a release date; find Murphy’s note on that here.) They were recently tapped to replace Frank Ocean has a headliner for this year’s Sasquatch! Festival.

In addition to LCD Soundsystem’s new music, band member Tyler Pope has shared a new single through his Interference Pattern label. The song is called “L.Y.G.” and it’s a collaboration between Pope and Mandre (aka Mario Andreoni from !!!) and Telepathe’s Melissa Livaudais. Listen to it here.

LCD Soundsystem will headline Pitchfork Music Festival 2017 with A Tribe Called Quest and Solange. The festival takes place in Chicago’s Union Park from July 14–16. Get tickets here.
