Watch M.I.A.’s Video for New Song “GOALS”

M.I.A. has shared a new song, “GOALS.” As previously reported, it’s produced by Branko, who contributed to M.I.A.’s most recent album, 2016’s AIM. Listen to the song below. In the description, she writes, “DEDICATED TO MY HARDCORE FANS THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNFALTERING DEDICATION AND SUPPORT. YOU HAVE GIVEN ME A SLIVER OF HOPE IN HUMANITY.” The song comes with a video comprising GIFs arranged by the artist Jaime Martinez, who’ll exhibit them as an art piece at this year’s Meltdown Festival, which M.I.A. is curating. Also on the bill are acts including Crystal Castles, Mykki Blanco, and Princess Nokia. It kicks off this Friday in London.

“GOALS” follows “P.O.W.A.,” a new song M.I.A. released earlier this year. In January, she also shared an alternate version of “A.M.P.,” a track originally released on AIM.
