Watch MGMT Debut New Songs at First Show of 2017
Yesterday, MGMT confirmed that they had a new album on the way, and announced they would be performing songs off that new album during their tour. Last night, the band kicked off that tour with a performance in Memphis, Tennessee at the Beale Street Music Festival. They kept their promise, debuting some new songs during the set, Stereogum points out. Check out clips of the band playing the new untitled material below. They also played some of their hits, including “Time to Pretend” and “Electric Feel.” MGMT’s last studio album was released in 2013.
