Watch Michael Cera on “Twin Peaks”

“Twin Peaks” made its return last night with a two-episode premiere on Showtime, with episodes 3 and 4 being made available online to stream immediately afterwards. Episode 4 features a cameo from none other than Michael Cera. He plays Wally Brando, who is (tiny spoiler alert!) the son of Deputy Andy Brennan and Lucy Moran. Flanked by his parents, he delivers a monologue that can only be described as “stilted.” Check that out here via Vulture. The premiere episodes closed with a cameo by Chromatics, who performed their song “Shadow” at the Roadhouse. It was announced earlier today that two new soundtracks tied to the “Twin Peaks” revival would be released in September.
