Watch Miguel and Kamasi Washington Cover “SexyBack” at Bonnaroo

Last night, Bonnaroo hosted the SuperJam—the annual set where a variety of artists from different backgrounds come together to perform famous songs by famous artists. This year’s jam had a theme: “Heart, Soul & Spirit: A Tribute to Tennessee.” Kamasi Washington was the bandleader. The show featured Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child paying homage to the late Maurice White with a cover of Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Getaway.” Third Eye Blind’s Stephan Jenkins covered Johnny Cash. At one point, a contemporary Tennessean was honored: Miguel joined in to pay tribute to Memphis native Justin Timberlake with a performance of “SexyBack.” (Yesterday, Miguel also covered the Notorious B.I.G.’s “Juicy” with Chance the Rapper.) Watch it happen below.
