Watch Rihanna Play an Alien Dancer in New Movie Valerian

Last fall, it was reported that Rihanna had been cast in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, a sci-fi film directed by Luc Besson (The Fifth Element, Léon the Professional). Now, a clip from the film has been released, featuring Rihanna in her role as an alien stripper. Below, check out a clip that shows her at the beginning of a dance routine (via Entertainment Weekly). The movie stars Cara Delevingne, Dane DeHaan, and Clive Owen. It’s out July 21, 2017 in the United States.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Rihanna will play Marion Crane, the victim in the famous shower scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, for the fifth and final season of A&E’s “Bates Motel.” She has also joined the cast of an all-female Ocean’s Eleven spin-off that features Anne Hathaway, Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, and the rapper Awkwafina. Rihanna’s last album was 2016’s ANTI.
