Watch Sigur Rós’ Full Concert With the L.A. Philharmonic

On April 14, Pitchfork.tv live streamed Sigur Rós’ performance with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. It was one of three performances with the orchestra at the venue. Now, it is available to stream once again in full, and this time it features newly edited and mixed audio. Watch the program, which was produced in association with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, below. The set featured special arrangements from several composers, including Anna Meredith (“Fljótavík”), Daníel Bjarnason (“Á”), and Dan Deacon (“Festival”). Watch interviews with those composers below about the songs they arranged and their process.

Sigur Rós are on tour through October. They will hold a special Icelandic arts event called “Norður og Niður” in December.
