David Lynch’s classic TV series “Twin Peaks” returns in 2017. Before then, co-creator Mark Frost will help fans catch up on what’s happened in Twin Peaks, WA since the show ended in 1991. He’s got a new book called The Secret History of Twin Peaks out October 18 via Flatiron Books. It’s described as “a vastly layered, wide-ranging history that deepens the mysteries of the iconic town.” There is also a new trailer for the novel, as Dazed Digital points out. The “Twin Peaks” revival has a star-studded cast that includes Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor, Sky Ferreira, Sharon Van Etten, Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, and more. David Bowie was even set to appear on the show (reprising his role from Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me) before his death in January. See the full cast here.
