Watch Tyler, The Creator’s Cherry Bomb Documentary in Full
In 2015, director Mikey Alfred documented Tyler, the Creator recording his album Cherry Bomb. The film was screened earlier this year in January, and now it’s available to stream. Watch it below via Fader. Presented by Illegal Civ Cinema, Cherry Bomb: The Documentary chronicles Tyler’s time writing and recording the LP. It also features some live performances, as well as appearances from Kanye West, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky, Frank Ocean, and Hans Zimmer. The documentary got a limited edition DVD release earlier this year.
Tyler recently provided the theme song to “Bill Nye Saves the World” and scored the short film “Becoming” from Portland artist Aminé. He also recently revealed that his animated series “The Jellies!” will be making its way to Adult Swim.
