Tonight, Vampire Weekend, Killer Mike, Foster the People, and more are in Iowa City to perform at a Bernie Sanders rally. Watch a livestream of the “Students for Bernie” event below. Update (9:51 p.m., EST): Killer Mike did not end up attending the event.

Because Vampire Weekend co-founder Rostam Batmanglij left the band earlier this week, Ezra Koenig is performing with a makeshift band, made up of Vampire Weekend drummer Chris Tomson, Dirty Projectors’ Dave Longstreth, comedic duo the Lucas Bros, and the University of Iowa’s Hawkapellas—an all-female a cappella group. (“Bernie can call that Vampire Weekend if he likes,” he said.)

Prior to the rally, they performed at the Java House in Iowa City. Watch some clips from the event (including “The Star-Spangled Banner” and “This Land Is Your Land” sing-alongs) and check out Koenig’s rehearsal with the Hawkapellas below, via Stereogum.
