Watch “Weird Al”’s Outtakes From the Lonely Island’s Popstar Movie

“Weird Al” Yankovic had a brief cameo in the Lonely Island’s film Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. He played the frontman of the fictional band Hammerleg, and he has now shared some of his outtakes from the movie. In the deleted scene, “Weird Al”’s character introduces Andy Samberg’s Conner4Real at “The Poppies,” trying out a number of different intros. In one, he says he thought Conner was dead. In another, he promotes Hammerleg’s new album, Our New Album Drops Wednesday (it’s out Tuesday, though). Watch the outtakes below, via Yahoo.

“Weird Al”’s cut scenes follow yesterday’s deleted clip for “Fuck Off.” Both are included in the bonus features of the Popstar DVD/Blu-ray, which is out September 13 via Universal.
